mouse button and choose Properties

Types dialog box opens.

- Make sure the radio buttons next to Server assigned IP address and Server assigned name server addresses are
selected.
- Use IP header compression and Use default
gateway on remote network should both be checked.
Step 5: Configure Dial-Up Networking to Automatically
Redial a Busy Number
Atl-Connect strives to never have busy signals.
However, in the event that you might get one on a rare occasion, you can
configure Dial-Up Networking to automatically redial.
- Select Connections
from the Dial-Up Networking folder, then Settings.
- From here, you can choose the number of times you would like your dial-up sessions to re-attempt connection in case you encounter a busy signal.
Step 6: Dialing in and Getting Connected
- Double-click your Atl-Connect connection icon. You will see the Connect To dialog box similar to the one shown below.
- Put your username and password in the login and password text boxes.
- Click Connect.
- Your modem will start dialing, and after a couple of rings, Atl-Connect's terminal server will answer. You will see a dialog box letting you know you
are indeed connected.
- Click the Disconnect button when you are done using the
Internet services.
You did it! You have configured your dial-up communication software and connected to Atl-Connect. If you have any difficulties connecting, don't hesitate to give us a call.
